Michael Jackson’s This Is It movie clinched first place this weekend in box offices across the country.
The tribute movie made $7.9 million and left fans full of nostalgia.
This is it was originally the name of Michael Jackson’s 50 show sojourn at London’s O2 Arena in the summer of 2010. On June 25, with every concert sold-out, Michael Jackson went into cardiac arrest and died.
He left millions of fans with nothing but empty hearts and tear soaked ticket stubs.
The recent movie, titled This is It, is a collection of video footage of Jackson practicing for his 2010 concert. For many the movie did more than entertain; it also softened the loss of the King of Pop.
“The movie was incredible. I give it four and a half stars,” junior Matt Gabacz said. “It is a good way to preserve his music and give the fans what they deserve”
