Inspiration is consistently resonating through the halls of Hoban. Academic prowess, driven sports teams, generous community services and boundless creativity. The latter of
the four has its grand exhibition in the annual Fine Arts Festival. This year’s visual arts portion of the winter festival will be held on December 3 at 6:00 pm.
The displays can be found in the art rooms and the Showers Activity Center. As always, the Advanced Placement art students receive their very own display panel on which their portfolios are set up. The students man these panels in order to answer questions and receive both congratulatory and pejorative criticism from viewers. But, the AP students are not the only ones in the limelight.
The show features students of all art classes ranging from the mandatory Fine Arts 10 to the more obscure Digital Imaging or Print Making. In fact, the goal of all art classes is to have materials ready to display by the time the show rolls around.
Although the musical portion of the Fine Arts Festival occurs on December 2, a choir performance can be found on December 3 beginning at 7:00 pm in the Barry Gymnasium.
