A little disappointing to come to Hoban’s website and see on the cover page as well as this one– these theme days–while being fun I am sure–yet I don’t see any other coverage–just why is a Caholic education a dividend? Why should one donate and support Catholic education? What are the dividends–for the investment? Pajama Days? Note I am not criticizing having these theme days–but I don’t see anything of substance for the week. What about a prominent theme of dividends? I am not sure of the exact tuition at Hoban–about two hundred dollars plus per school week I imagine–about 26 weeks. Broken down into each class–25 dollars plus per class. What about a Gratitude Day–where students realize how fortunate they are to have a special educaitonal opportunity–in part financed by the dedication of many others.

I believe the dress up days are to help show our spirit and pride of being a part of a Catholic School. The days of dressing up are not the limit of the activities done and the fact that it is published on the website allows parents and students alike to know what their child can and cannot wear to school to celebrate their Catholic education. I believe dressing up is in no way disrespectful or ingrateful and it makes me trully sad that it could be taken that way.

Did not take it that way. There was no other info prominent. That is the point. No one said it was disrespectful or ungrateful or ingrateful. There did not seem to be any info, plans etc of substance. No one said it was wrong to put this up–just be sure to cover the higher level things being done as well.
